Keep Libraries Alive
When I was in elementary school my mother would drive my siblings and I everyday after school to the Corona Public Library. She did this to motivate us to do our homework and interact with the other kids. I wish I could say that worked but as soon as we arrived my brothers would automatically go to the computers and I would head straight to the books. While her plan never worked exactly the way that she had hope, one big thing that these after school trips to the library did was instill in me a deeper love for books and reading. I loved going to the library and when I couldn't go to the Public Library I would go to my schools library. I wanted to surround myself with books and the library gave me everything I needed.
